Onward welcomes Nicki Seefried as Senior Manager of Client Success
Onward is thrilled to welcome a new Senior Manager to the Client Success team, Nicki Seefried. With Nicki’s sales and customer expertise, Onward can further improve and strengthen new and existing customer relationships. Nicki will be a valuable asset in our growth as we embark on another year of rapid expansion.
Introducing Nicki Seefried
Meet Nicki. Nicki is the Senior Manager of Client Success at Onward and is focused on training and educating new and existing clients on using our system while listening to their feedback, making systems convenient and accessible for the user. With a background in Education Technology at Guild Education, Nicki worked as an enrollment coach for a year. At Guild, she supported employees at Lowes and Walmart by learning more about their long-term goals and assisted them in enrolling in an affordable school program. Nicki worked her way up as a team lead and later as a manager, leading a team of eight coaches who partnered with Walmart and The Walt Disney Company. After Guild, Nicki managed and coached account management teams at SonderMind, focusing on building a team and defining more scalable processes. This experience allowed her to develop substantial customer service and sales background to help strengthen accounts with existing clients.
Nicki’s background in Ed Tech makes her a perfect fit for the role of building scalable ways to teach our retailers how to use the Onward platform. A platform that acts as a major competitive advantage for our retailers once they are onboarded by Nicki’s team.
What is your position at Onward?
“I’m a Senior Manager of Client Success, focusing primarily on standardizing processes for supporting existing accounts, internal operations, and hiring and training a team.”
What’s the next place on your travel bucket list?
“I would love to go to Greece or Iceland because they just seem so beautiful and different from anywhere I have been before.”
Are you currently binge-watching any shows?
“Yes, I’m a massive drag race fan. I’m watching multiple seasons of Drag Race right at any given moment.”
What’s your favorite snack?
“Any kind of cracker, cheese, and fruit combo is my favorite. You gotta mix it up, keep the people guessing.”
When you aren’t working, what are you usually doing?
“I have a small photography business where I mostly take pictures of couples and families. I also have a 7-month-old puppy my partner and I spend a lot of time training. We also love to take him to the dog park.”
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
“I received the advice never to run away from something but always be running towards something. So now, that’s the advice I give to everyone I work with.”
